Welcome! I specialize in women’s mental health and wellness. I view therapy as pathway to enhancing clarity, healing emotional wounds and suffering, gaining self-understanding, and allowing self-compassion. Embracing our imperfection and opening up to the possibilities and growth that our vulnerability offers us is the beginning of living in the joy and freedom offered by being at peace with ourselves and our lives.
Trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, eating disorders, substance use, mood disorders, relationship issues, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem issues, and life quality issues complicate our perception of ourselves and our relationships with others. Taking the step to seek help is an act of courage and strength. The path begins with this first step….
My therapeutic approach is client-centered. I am trained in and practice Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Gender-centered Therapy for women.
